EIGHT new transatlantic routes are set to take flight in 2026.

Several major airlines are set to launch new transatlantic routes from the US and Canada.

The new routes feature stops in major tourist hubs, including Barcelona, Athens, and Nice.

Ethiad Airlines announced it will begin flying from Charlotte to Abu Dhabi, making it the first Middle Eastern operator at the North Carolina airport, Simple Flying reported.

The route spans 6,437 nautical miles and will run four times a week starting May 4, 2026.

Delta also announced three new routes, with the first route set to take flight on May 6, 2026.

The airline , ranked as the world’s best by The Points Guy , will launch its new flights by offering flyers four weekly flights from Seattle to Rome Fiumicino.
