MARSHALL, Texas (KTRE) - Former Alto Yellowjacket Keegan Davis found the end zone in East Texas Baptist’s 42-28 loss to Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday.

The sophomore has four rushing touchdowns this season.

Davis was 1-of-4 passing for two yards, and carried the ball two times with a touchdown. Davis got the Tigers on the board with a 1-yard rushing touchdown with 7:03 to go in the first quarter. Devin Phillips (Henderson) caught one pass for nine yards. Aidan Hernandez (Linden-Kildare) had four punts for 158 yards and pinned one inside the 20-yard line.

For UMHB, Trevor Tamplin (Longview) had four tackles and 1 1/2 tackles-for-loss, and Lance Robertson (Malakoff) added one tackle.
