RUSSELL Wilson has been told to call it a career after being benched by the New York Giants.

Big Blue benched the 36-year-old Wilson in favor of first-round pick Jaxson Dart last month.

Dart replaced Wilson as their starting quarterback ahead of their Week 4 matchup.

Wilson opened with a 0-3 record as he recorded three passing touchdowns against three interceptions in his outings.

Dart would impress in his first week as he led the Giants to their first win of the season against the Los Angeles Chargers .

ESPN analyst Marcus Spears believes Wilson should retire after the Giants decide to bench him.

The former NFL star thinks that Wilson has no place in the league, with Dart taking over the Giants' starting duties in an interview with TMZ.
