LynLake Brewery in Uptown is raising money in an attempt to stay open under new ownership.

The brewery recently announced plans to close after 11 years in business, stating that "too many headwinds stacked up."

But as its final day open nears, the brewery has shared a crowd-funding effort on social media, representing a last-ditch effort to remain in business.

The brewery says it will need to reach its goal of $150,000 within two weeks in order to stay open.

"If not, we’ll close knowing we gave it everything we had — with your encouragement carrying us to the very end," the brewery wrote on Facebook.
