Outdoor gear and appeal brand L.L.Bean will open a new store in the Twin Cities next year.

The Maine-based retailer, which has a 29,000-square-foot anchor store at Mall of America, is currently building out a brand new location at The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove.

Four spaces across from H&M will be joined together to make way for the new L.L.Bean, which will open in the newly-created 17,000-square-foot space in the summer of 2026, according to a news release.

Michael Landstad, general manager of The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes, said statement that the development is "thrilled to welcome this iconic and versatile brand."

“L.L.Bean’s offerings are a perfect fit for so many Minnesotans who value high-quality apparel and footwear for their outdoor lifestyle," he said.
