ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Three of the four suspects accused of shooting five people during a Mechanicsville family reunion last year appeared in court Monday.

Tyler Brandford, Branden Hart, Jaquan Taylor and Noah Williams are charged in connection with the August 2024 deaths of three teenagers and two adults, who were shot in the parking lot of the City Views at Rosa Burney Park apartment complex. Witnesses told police that a car pulled up and shots were fired into a crowd of people before driving off.

Brandford, Taylor and Hart did not have attorneys in the courtroom during their arraignment. Brandford pleaded not guilty, but his attorney was not present. Williams was not on the docket.
