PIAA named Cathedral Prep girls cross country coach Therese brown and Corry girls volleyball coach Kelly Goodsel as coaches of the year across the Commonwealth.

Goodsel's Corry volleyball program is hosting Avery's Pawsitive Change Tuesday night for its home match at 7 pm.

The charity event is for a non-profit in support of Avery Chauncey's battle with cancer.

The beavers are calling for fans to pack the gym with a blackout for fans to wear black and bring a pet food or treat donation in lieu of an admission price for tuesday's matches.

The doors open at 5:30 at the high school; JV follows at 6 pm and varsity after that.

The event includes raffles, 50/50 and custom jewelry sales.
