LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Big 12 honors continue to come in for No. 9 Texas Tech. Kicker Stone Harrington had a busy evening on Saturday at Houston, where he nailed three of five field goal attempts. All five of his kickoffs resulted in a touchback- all good enough for Harrington to earn the weekly honor as ‘Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week’.

The Red Raiders’ defensive line is once again honored as ‘Defensive Line of the Week’- their second time this year, after another suffocating performance from the team’s 35-11 win at Houston,

The Red Raiders’ vaunted defense limited the Cougars to 103 yards on the ground and pressured the quarterback 22 times. Two weeks ago, the line earned the same weekly award with a similar performance at Utah, where they won 34-10.
