DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is investigating two late-night burglaries that happened just minutes apart in Castle Pines, and they're asking the public to check their home security footage for any signs of the suspects.

The break-ins happened around 9:22 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3. Deputies say two homes, one on Oakview Place and another on Glen Ridge Drive, were targeted by what they believe are three masked suspects wearing hoodies and backpacks.

"Drones, multiple drones were put up in the air to try and find out where they were, if they were still hiding in the area," said Douglas County Sheriff Darren Weekly. "Then, of course, the dogs, to track potential suspects, but unfortunately, we were not able to locate any of the suspects."
