It's a clear night under the full moon, but after multiple warm, above average days, a big cool down is on the way!
The cold front begins to bring showers into the region around or just after lunch time for the Champlain Valley. Starting more scattered in nature, the precipitation then shifts to widespread as we move past sunset. We wrap up the rain drops around or just prior to sunrise Wednesday morning, and we're left behind with a beneficial soaking that has help to refresh rivers and streams, and lowered our high fire risk.
Rainfall totals will range between 0.5-1.0" for most folks but there could be a few isolated locations that inch towards 1-2" of rain!
We'll begin to clear the clouds out Wednesday morning, with everyone back to sunshine by late afternoon.
Have a great night!
