Auburn athletics announced Monday afternoon that the season opener against Baylor will be featured as the 2026 Aflac Kickoff Game.

The game will be moved to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, Sept. 5th. Auburn was originally scheduled to host it inside Jordan-Hare stadium after traveling to Waco this year’s game.

Several Auburn fans expressed displeasure on social media about the move since the Tigers will have only six true home games during the 2026 season.
