The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who was killed in a farm accident.

Samuel King, 29, died Oct. 4 at a property on the 100 block of Geist Road in Upper Leacock Township.

The coroner’s office responded to the property at 12:43 p.m. Saturday after the man was found unresponsive in a silo. Coroner investigators arrived and observed an adult man inside a partially filled silo, who was then pronounced deceased.

King resided on the property.

“A physical assessment of King and scene investigation revealed no suspicious circumstances,” the coroner’s office said in a news release on Monday evening. “The case is being investigated as a farm accident.”

King was transported to the Lancaster County Forensic Center for further investigation.
