COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Students and visitors at the University of South Carolina got a glimpse into America’s revolutionary past through an immersive fashion show at USC’s Gamecock Village, celebrating the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary.
The event featured period-accurate clothing demonstrations, with participants dressed in authentic Revolutionary War-era attire. Jennifer Burckhalter from the Trenton Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution explained the social distinctions reflected in colonial fashion.
