BOSTON —
Tuesday will mark two years since the beginning of the war in Gaza, which started after a Hamas-led attack on a music festival in Israel on Oct. 7.
One woman, Millet Ben Haim, says she was at that event, the Nova Music Festival, when she noticed what she described as rockets in the sky.
Ben Haim says she was able to find safety after running for her life for two hours. She later returned to the site to collect her belongings and realized it could be powerful to display them.
"It hit you different when you actually see that we are people who went through it. This is an experience that we went through, and when you see the items, then maybe it hits home because maybe you wear the same brands," Ben Haim said. "The shoes can be Nike, makeup bags — we have the same products."
