ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -St. Louis County Police have stepped up patrols in the area of Telegraph Road and Sappington Barracks Road after a suspicious man was seen repeatedly loitering around children.

A father of a 13-year-old girl, who asked to remain anonymous to protect his daughter’s identity, said the man sat in a gray Honda across the street and near a bus stop for hours.

“I fear that he’s hunting kids. I fear that this man is a predator,” said the father.

The father confronted the suspicious man but said he became angry and sped away. Afterward, he went inside and checked his surveillance camera video and discovered that the man had been across the street for four hours.
