MACOMB, Ill. (WGEM) - The “no sticker” Fall yard waste collection begins Monday and runs through Nov. 28.

According to city officials, loose landscape waste, such as leaves, grass clippings, small branches not larger than a half inch in diameter, must be either bagged in paper bags, landscape waste bags, or placed in trash containers labeled “yard waste.” These must weigh 50 pounds or less.

Brush and branches not exceeding three inches in diameter may be bundled and tied with twine, not wire. Bundles should be four feet or less in length and three feet or less in diameter. twine. Bundles tied with wire will not be collected. Do not place yard waste in the provided green Waste Management carts.

Waste management will end the yard waste pickup program on Nov. 28, with or without a sticker.
