BIG RAPIDS — With postseason play around the corner, the Ludington girls varsity golf team made the trip to Big Rapids on Friday for the Katke Two-Day Golf Event at Katke Golf Course.

The Orioles came to play and posted a season low team score in round two, securing a tie for fifth place with Traverse City West. Each team finished with an overall score of 844 in 36 holes of play.

Grand Rapids Catholic Central took home first with a 677 total score. Big Rapids (second, 743), Montague (3rd, 757) and Kalamazoo Christian (4th, 778) rounded out the top five.
