Goochland County, Va. (WWBT) - Community members came out in droves once again Monday night to firmly stand against the Technology Overlay District proposal.

During the joint Town Hall meeting, community members spoke to the board of supervisors to explain why they do not want data centers, a nuclear reactor, and a gas peak plant to come to Goochland County.

“If this had been in place in 2015, I would not have moved here,” one community member said.

Before the meeting started, neighbors protested in front of Goochland High School, holding signs that read “No Nukes” and “No Data Centers.”
