Dozens of locals are demanding a change to a 'tired' park in Coventry . In fact just over 140 people have added their names to a plea for action at Eastern Green Park.

They say that the 'tired' playground equipment, including those for pre-school children, needs updating. A petition has been set-up which calls for Coventry City Council to take action.

It says that the park would benefit from the addition of 'any new equipment that could be provided'. So far 142 residents have signed the online petition.
