MERCED, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Modesto woman has gone missing after her family says she took public transportation to Merced.

Police say 32-year-old Sydni Sherrill was reported missing by her family on Monday after she "unexpectedly" traveled by public transportation from Modesto to Merced

According to officers, she is believed to have arrived in the city around 2 p.m.

Sherrill is 5 feet 6 inches tall and approximately 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. No information regarding her clothing was provided.
