Two people have died after being shot inside of a home in Waterbury late Monday night, according to police.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Beverly Avenue around 11 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

Investigators said two people were shot inside of the home and both died of their injuries.

Their identities have not yet been released.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
