Covid cases and hospitalisations are climbing across the UK, but fewer people are eligible for a free vaccine this autumn and winter.

Pharmacists across England say they're facing issues with patients booking Covid jab appointments to be turned away because they no longer qualify under tighter NHS rules .

The eligibility criteria has been narrowed to focus on those most vulnerable to the virus. The NHS and UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) have warned that even if someone received the vaccine last year, they may not be eligible this year.
