LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

The United Football League announced that it's bringing a team to Louisville in 2026.

The UFL is a pro football minor league with eight teams.

The local team will be called the Louisville Kings , and they will play home games at Lynn Family Stadium, the current home of Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC.

The Kings are part of the UFL's push into new markets.

On top of Louisville, there will also be new franchises moving to Orlando, Florida and Columbus, Ohio.
