Iceland is launching a new mystery bag scheme, where customers can secure a range of unknown items for a bargain price.

The supermarket's Olio "Lucy Dip" bags will contain at least eight food items from Iceland locations which are nearing their sell-by date.

Olio's website at the moment is offering the bag for up to 80 per cent off - which means a £2 mystery bag from Iceland could snag you groceries up to £10.

There will be a number of products in the bags ranging from fresh fruit to vegetables, everyday staples or even deli items.

News of the latest initiative comes after Iceland successfully trialled the lucky dip scheme in London and Manchester earlier this year.
