Oasis’ reunion tour this year has garnered a lot of headlines and acclaim as the band has performed to large crowds a cross the globe.
Unfortunately, one member of the band now has to bow out of at least part of the ongoing tour to take care of his health.
In a post on social media, Oasis co-founder and guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs announced he was going to miss some upcoming dates in order to treat his cancer.
“Early this year I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The good news is I’m responding really well to treatment, which meant I could be part of this incredible tour,” he wrote.
“Now, I am having to take a planned break for the next phase of my care, so I’ll be missing the gigs in Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne and Sydney,” he continued. “I’m really sad to be missing these shows
