It’s almost time for New Yorkers across the five boroughs to head to the polls once again.

Voters will cast their ballots to select a candidate for mayor, Public Advocate and city comptroller, as well as for City Council and borough president seats.

There’s already a competitive list of candidates running for mayor . Those vying for the position include Queens state Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani on the Democratic line; Curtis Sliwa on the Republican line; and Andrew Cuomo on an independent line.

Incumbent Mayor Eric Adams ended his reelection campaign in late September. He plans to continue to serve the rest of his term until the end of the year. His name will still be on the ballot.
