PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- The R.I. Supreme Court has temporarily suspended the law license of former Central Falls judge Joseph Molina Flynn, who's under FBI investigation for allegedly duping clients and misusing funds.
The state's high court issued the decision Thursday, barring Molina Flynn from practicing law in Rhode Island. The order is temporary pending a full hearing on the matter slated for Thursday.
"In furtherance of protecting the public and maintaining the integrity of the legal profession, it is ordered, adjudged and decreed that the [he] is hereby suspended from the practice of law in the state on a temporarily basis," a single justice wrote in an unsigned order.
Molina Flynn did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
