LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A plane has gone off a runway at Bowman Field Tuesday morning, officials confirmed.
Around 10:20 a.m., there was a report that a plane had gone off a runway at the airport. Louisville Fire Crews responded and determined there were no injuries, cancelling an EMS run.
A spokesperson for the Louisville Regional Airport Authority confirmed that the plane overran runway 33, landing on Seneca Golf Course, which is at the end of that runway.
That spokesperson said they are still waiting on an update from Bowman Field about the status of the airport and the passengers on the plane.
