A summit designed to empower women in the region is planned for Tuesday, Nov. 18, at James River Church-Joplin campus, 1850 Maiden Lane.

Check-in and networking for the BOLD Women's Summit — Building Opportunities for Leadership Development — begins at 7:30 a.m., with the kickoff planned for 8:30 a.m. The summit wraps up at 4 p.m., to be followed by a networking session from 4:30-6 p.m. sponsored by Megan Long American Family Insurance at the The Roxy Event Center, 102 S.
