RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - The Diamond might be closed for Baseball , but the park will reopen for a spooky, fun night!

Flying Squirrels will host their annual Squirrel O Ween event to provide a safe and fun space for children to interact and trick or treat for free.

Fans are invited to dress in their best Halloween costumes for a chance to win prizes. Winners will be selected for “Squirreliest,” “Best Group,” “Best Duo,” “Scariest,” and “Most Creative.”

The event is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 30, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The Diamond. Winners of the costume contest will be announced during the event at 8 p.m.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and Nutzy and Nutasha will be on hand to take pictures with fans.

Free parking is available in the lots at The Diamond.
