CINCINNATI, Ohio (WDTN) - Following a third straight loss and another disappointing performance from the offense, the Bengals are reportedly adding another quarterback.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, the Bengals have made a trade within the AFC North, acquiring veteran Joe Flacco from the Cleveland Browns.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Bengals are sending a fifth round pick to the Browns in exchange for former Super Bowl MVP.
Cincinnati is also receiving a sixth-round pick in the trade.
Drafted in the first round by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2008 draft out of Delaware, Flacco has not been a regular starting quarterback in the NFL since the 2017 season.
However, he has made five or more starts four of the last seven seasons, entering the 2025 campaign.
