MANDAN, N.D. — The Dickinson State Blue Hawks had their penultimate rodeo of the 2025 fall season, at the Bismarck State College Rodeo at Dale Pahlke Arena in Mandan, N.D.

The Blue Hawks’ men’s team hasn’t had the results it has wanted to this season. This past weekend, though, they earned third, racking up 350 points. After coming in first place in the Saddle Bronc Riding at the Blue Hawk Stampede last week, senior Tayson Jones placed second with 110 points.

Senior Colton Zubach and junior Eli Higa placed third in the Team Roping with 90 points and a time of 20.3 seconds. The men’s team is currently sitting in fourth in the Great Plains Region standings with 1,187 points.

On the women’s side, the Blue Hawks tied for fifth place with 110 points. Senior Maci Maher tied for second in Goat
