Actor Eugene Levy has revealed his deep connection to the city where his mum was born - Glasgow.

The 78-year-old Canadian , best known for his role as Johnny Rose in the hit sitcom Schitt's Creek, opened up about the emotional experience of visiting the part of the city that is connected to his family's past.

Rebecca Kudlats, his mother, was born and raised in the Gorbals before her family emigrated when she was in her early teens, according to The Record .
