Project Sail’s promise is a bait and switch

Hopefully, alert Newnan Times-Herald readers know a bait and switch when they see one. If they do, they see the one unfolding right before their eyes, and they should not be fooled.

The proponents of the proposed massive data center called Project Sail would have our residents believe that in just a few short years the developers, Atlas Development and Prologis, will be forking over $100 million per year to the county in the form of property taxes. That is the bait.
