A proposal to build a $4 billion industrial data center complex in central Coweta County has entered the public input stage, with regional planners now seeking comments as part of a mandatory Development of Regional Impact review by the Three Rivers Regional Commission.

The project, known as Central Coweta Industrial Phase II (DRI #4374), calls for the construction of eight data center buildings totaling about 2.4 million square feet on a 458-acre site located north of State Route 34/Bullsboro Drive, south of Coweta Industrial Parkway, east of U.S. 29, and west of Interstate 85.

According to documents submitted to the commission, the development would also include

three electrical substations, stormwater infrastructure, and internal access roads.

The buildout is expected to be complete
