The familiar spot at 12 Jefferson Street, once home to Heirloom Donuts, is buzzing again.

Foxtail Coffee, a Florida-based chain known for its craft brews and neighborhood feel, opened its Newnan location last month.

The company was founded in 2016 in Winter Park, Florida, by Alex Tchekmeian and immediately focused on providing top-of-the-line products made with the highest quality ingredients.

Newnan’s location is owned and operated by John and Allison Wylie, a Sharpsburg couple in charge of three other franchises in Thomas Crossroads, Peachtree City and Midtown Atlanta.

Despite belonging to a chain with nearly 100 locations across the United States, each store is unique and complements the community it belongs to, John said.
