Comerica Park, home of the Detroit Tigers, covered with a tarp on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Comerica Park in Detroit, two hours before the ALDS Game 3 between the Tigers and Seattle Mariners.

Those of you hoping to enjoy the pivotal Game 3 of the American League Division Series between the Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners on Tuesday afternoon are unfortunately going to have to wait a little longer.

Roughly 45 minutes before the originally scheduled first pitch, the Tigers announced that inclement weather in the Detroit area would delay the start of Game 3. The Tigers noted they would provide updates accordingly about when exactly to expect game activities to resume. This, of course, isn't necessarily out of the ordinary for a Midwestern city in early October.

A bummer, to be sure. But at least everyone is staying safe (and presumably, dry).

Oh, well. At least the baseball will come on. Eventually. Stay patient, folks.
