SHREVEPORT, La. - In celebration of Fire Prevention Week, the Shreveport Fire Department is inviting the community to a special event at Princess Park on Tuesday starting at 10 a.m.

This family-friendly gathering aims to raise awareness about fire safety and prevention through engaging activities, live demonstrations, and interactive learning experiences. Firefighters will be on hand to showcase equipment, answer questions, and provide valuable tips on how to keep homes and families safe from fire hazards.

Princess Park located at 931 Baker Street will be transformed into a hub of safety and fun, making it an ideal outing for schools, families, and anyone interested in learning more about fire prevention. The event is free and open to the public.
