The internet can't seem to stop raving about the "Biscoff Cookie Butter Cake," the newest seasonal offering from the baked goods franchise Nothing Bundt Cake.
Since its debut on Sept. 29, the Biscoff Cookie Butter Cake has found a fan in many, at least in those who have gotten the chance to try it.
"That biscoff cookie butter cake from nothin Bundt cakes was fireeeeee," one social media user wrote Oct. 2.
Informally crowned "The Diamond of the Season," fans pleaded with the company to keep the Biscoff Cookie Butter Cake on the menu longer than Sunday, Oct. 12, when it's scheduled to leave menus.
Others are planning on, or are actively trying to get a taste. Some customers have reported the item being out of stock in their areas.
According to Nothing Bundt Cakes, several bakeries across the nation have already sold out of the Biscoff Cookie Butter Cake so customers should get their hands on it before it's gone.
A match made in cookie butter heaven
Claire Jessen, vice president of culinary at Nothing Bundt Cakes, says the Dallas-based company has been "watching the cookie butter trend rise over the past few years and knew its warm, spiced flavor would pair perfectly with our moist Bundt Cake and signature cream cheese frosting."
"Once we saw how much our guests loved it, we knew partnering with Biscoff — the most recognized name in cookie butter — was the right choice," Jessen said in a statement. "The Biscoff Cookie Butter Bundt Cake has been an incredible hit, and with such an enthusiastic response, we’re already discussing how we can 'Bring the Joy' of this flavor back again soon."
Internet is crumbling over Biscoff Bundt Cake
Customers who have been lucky enough to get a taste of the cake have taken to social media to post their reviews, most of which have been overwhelmingly positive.
While the majority seemed to lean in favor of the treat, some were curious about whether the seasonal offering lived up to the hype. A small minority thought that the dessert looked a little too sweet.
For those curious about the flavor profile, the Biscoff Cookie Butter Cake is a "comforting spice cake with Biscoff Cookie Butter baked right in and drizzled on top, as well as real Biscoff cookies baked on the bottom and placed on top," according to its description.
