RALEIGH, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Gov. Josh Stein is offering a $25,000 reward for information related to the drive-by murders of two Salisbury residents last year, he announced Tuesday.

On Aug. 10, 2024, officers were called around 5:30 a.m. in reference to a shooting that occurred on Rowan Mill Road in Salisbury. Court documents show that 80-year-old Charles Williams and Myisha Angle, 3, were asleep when more than 30 shots were fired into their house, killing them both.

“Even when all leads have been exhausted in a case, we cannot stop the pursuit of justice,” said Stein. “I urge North Carolinians who have information about these cases to contact local law enforcement so that justice can be served and their family can find closure.”
