A Penhold man is facing drug trafficking and weapons charges following a joint investigation by the Innisfail and Red Deer RCMP Crime Reduction Units.

On Friday, Oct. 3, officers executed a search warrant at a home on Lucina Street in Penhold, where they seized 1.3 kilograms of methamphetamine, 120 grams of cocaine, cash, and weapons and other items associated with drug trafficking.

Jason Stol, 42, of Penhold, has been charged with: • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (two counts)

Stol was released following a judicial hearing and is scheduled to appear in Red Deer court on Oct. 30, 2025.
