Prosecutors in Indianapolis are keen on getting their hands on the results of a drug test carried out on Mark Sanchez following the stabbing incident that rocked the NFL world over the weekend.
Sanchez, a former quarterback who worked as a football analyst for FOX Sports, was stabbed early Saturday morning but has since been arrested and charged, as he’s believed to have been the aggressor.
The alleged assault has also prompted a lawsuit in which both he and FOX are named as defendants.
Sanchez, a first-round pick by the New York Jets in 2009, is facing up to six years in prison on a felony charge of battery causing serious injury.
