A report of a stolen vehicle led to a police chase that ended in a water hazard at a Decatur golf course on Monday.

According to Decatur Police, officers spotted the vehicle at the intersection of 4th Ave. SE and Grant Street SE. When the vehicle failed to stop for police, they say a pursuit started.

Police say they chase ended when the vehicle crashed into a water hazard at Point Mallard Golf Course. Authorities identified the driver as Kendall Lucky, who was the only occupant in the vehicle and was arrested without incident.

Lucky was booked into the Morgan County Jail and charged with theft of property, attempt to flee/elude law enforcement, reckless driving, and several other traffic charges.

Lucky is being held on $13,000 bond.
