SUPERIOR, AZ (AZFamily) — We’ve heard about the hundreds of volunteers who came to help clean Downtown Globe after severe storms caused deadly flash flooding last month.

Just 30 miles west, more volunteers dedicated their time to doing Something Good for another one of Arizona’s gems that was damaged by the storms.

The Boyce Thompson Arboretum is the oldest and largest botanical garden in Arizona, and the walkways had been closed due to washout.

Volunteers from Resolution Copper, the town of Superior, Native Resources International and Superior Environmental Solutions, Inc. helped clean and reopen the Wallace Bridge, picnic area and demonstration gardens.
