SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The June E. Nylen Cancer Center (JENCC) in Sioux City has received a grant to help with two of its renovation and expansion projects.
The center says the $2 million grant was from the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust. Since 2008, the organization has committed more than $4.5 billion to a wide range of charitable purposes in the U.S. and around the world.
“Thank you to the Helmsley Charitable Trust and all of our generous supporters for ensuring the patients in this region have the cancer care they deserve, now and in the future,” said Krista McCullough, Executive Director of JENCC. “The June E. Nylen Cancer Center is dedicated to hope and healing, close to home.”
This grant, along with $550,000 from local donors, is to be used to update the center’s ch
