ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Nearly five months after a tornado devastated St. Louis, the effort to rebuild continues, piece by piece.
One huge project, replacing all the trees that were wiped out in the storm.
The City of St. Louis said since the tornado, nearly 10,000 trees have been trimmed or removed. Now they need help to rebuild the tree canopy along the path of the tornado.
The Clark-Fox Foundation and several partners: Forest Park Forever, Forest ReLeaf of Missouri, the City of St. Louis Recovery Office and Commerce Bank are coming together to support tree-planting efforts.
Now, you and your family can help build for the future through a new campaign, “Trick or Tree.”
“What we are trying to do is really get kids involved with rebuilding after the tornado and families,” sai
