WAUPACA COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) - Waupaca County has been working around the clock to address a $4 million deficit in its new 2026 budget proposal.

On Tuesday morning, the board of supervisors approved a recommendation for the finance committee to make that happen.

County board members also agreed to a pay cut from things like lodging, meals, and business travel, along with doing interviews.
