A Canton man was arrested in the parking lot of Topgolf in Ridgeland today.

According to the Ridgeland Police Department, narcotics investigators arrested John Carter Renfrow around 4:00 p.m. today.

Renfrow is charged with Conspiracy to Commit a Crime (felony) and Trafficking of a Controlled Substance.

Ridgeland officials thanked the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and the HIDTA Task Force for their assistance. The department also issued a warning to would-be offenders:

“If you come to Ridgeland intending to commit a crime, officers and detectives will be waiting.”

He is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
