VAN BUREN, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Van Buren man is accused of sexual extortion after authorities say he threatened to post inappropriate photos of a minor, according to court documents.

Zane Barritt, 38, was arrested by the Van Buren Police Department on Sept. 23 for one count of sexual extortion. He has pleaded not guilty, according to court documents filed earlier this month.

A probable cause affidavit said on Sept. 8, a VBPD detective was notified by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children about a sexual exploitation incident out of Florida.

There were social media messages between two accounts, with the suspects account being named "Hacker."
