STORRS, Conn. — UConn football quarterback Joe Fagnano is beginning to turn heads across the country for leading the Huskies’ prolific passing attack.

The UConn Division of Athletics has announced that Fagnano – a seventh-year senior from Williamsport, Pa. – is one of eight quarterbacks nationally to earn this week’s “Manning Award.”

In addition to Fagnano, the “Stars of the Week” include Carson Beck of Miami, Walker Eget of San Jose State, Blake Horvath of Navy, Nico Iamaleava of UCLA, Colton Joseph of Old Dominion, Jaylen Raynor of Arkansas State and Brendan Sorsby of Cincinnati.
